THE ALL-ON-4® IMPLANT PROCESS

First, we will do an examination, consultation and treatment planning with you and our team. All options will be discussed and a co-diagnosis and plan will be made with you making the final decision for the right treatment for you.
During a thorough consultation at our office, our team walks you through imaging and diagnostics so we can create a treatment plan. The 3D models and digital imaging give us a highly accurate map of your mouth so placement is safe and predictable. At this point, we will also learn more about how you want your new smile to look. We will go over the 3D imaging and diagnostics and walk you through the process to ensure that you get the looks and smile you always wanted. In addition to this, we will plan the implant placement for a safe and predictable result.
After impression and bite appointments with our team, the surgeon will carefully place dental implants into the jawbone at 4 specific locations. Unlike traditional implants, 2 of the 4 are placed on an angle. This allows us to load the bridge immediately and eliminates the 4 to 6 months of healing time before a secure bridge can be placed. There is often no need for bone grafts when using this technique. Once placed, provisional teeth are secured onto the implants. After a short while, you will go home the same day with temporized fixed bridges, a new smile and rejuvenated confidence.
You will be able to use your new teeth right away, chewing on a soft diet the very same day. Several weeks later, after your mouth has adapted to the implants, you will be provided with the permanent and much stronger final prosthesis. This will require a few more appointments to ensure that you are satisfied with the final result.
